Event details
Hellinger-style family constellations did not become popular by chance. Over the past 20 years, many different approaches and ways of working have emerged. Constellations carried out in silence often reach beyond the boundaries of the family system. At such moments, the field opens towards a broader reality of our existence.
These constellations can be a gift to everyone present.
Not necessarily because you will understand yourself better afterwards – although that may happen too. More importantly, during the constellation you have the opportunity to experience who and what you are, disentangled from the maze of intentions and expectations. Experience shows that when we allow what is happening to unfold with feeling, attention and heartfelt humility, it can sometimes lead to striking changes in our lives, and at other times to much subtler ones.
Silence provides the holding space for all of this.
During constellations in silence, we do not talk. I do not ask for feedback, and we do not analyse or discuss the details of the constellation afterwards. We do not get caught up in stories.
As a participant in a constellation, you are not playing a role. You are representing someone or something – which means there is no way for you to “do it wrong”.
If you would like to have your own constellation,
there are several ways we can work:
- You can bring a topic and share it with the group.
- You can choose a hidden constellation. In this case, you tell me your topic privately, and we do not reveal it to the group. The constellation can work just as well this way.
- - You can also have a constellation without a specific topic – a free constellation. This can be another fascinating way of experiencing yourself.
How the session unfolds:
- 9:45-10:00 – Arrival
- 10:00-10:15 – Introduction
- 10:15–aprox. 15:00 Constellations in the Space of Silence
The exact finishing time depends on the number and length of the constellations. - 14:45-15:00 – Closing circle
What to bring
Please bring some snacks for the breaks and something for lunch.
When is this event not recommended?
There are a few important things you should know before signing up.- Constellation work is not recommended if you have a mental health condition that requires psychiatric treatment, or if you are taking psychiatric medication. In this case, it is important to consult your therapist or psychiatrist about whether this kind of work is appropriate for you and, if so, what kind of topic would be suitable to bring.
- It is not recommended for minors. For anyone under 18, it is preferable for the parents to attend and request a constellation themselves.
- It is not recommended during the first six months of bereavement.
- If you are currently going through an acute crisis, it is also better not to request a constellation – unless the same type of crisis has already repeated several times in your life.
Constellations in Silence are not therapy.
They do not replace medical treatment or psychological therapy.Constellations in Silence do not take place within a therapeutic setting, and we do not work towards therapeutic goals. The work is based on observation and presence.
