Event details
Sometimes sounds are not there to create a particular effect. They simply hold a space for silence. That is exactly what happens during this experience.
The sounds of singing bowls and gongs in the silence bath help you rest and take a pause from causes, goals, problems, and the constant search for solutions.
At last, there is space for you, too.
How the session unfolds:
- 20:45 – Arrival
- 20:45-21:00 – Opening circle
- 21:00-22:00 – Silence accompanied by gongs, singing bowls and the sounds of nature
- 22:00-22:30 Free meditation, seated or lying down
(or simply a little time to turn inward) - 22:30-22:50 – Closing circle
During the 60-minute silence session, you will be lying down. Afterwards, as you slowly sit up and come back to the space around you, you will have 30 minutes for free meditation — or simply to turn your attention inward, surrounded by the evening sounds of nature, and spend some quiet, intimate time with yourself.
Not all noise comes from the world around us. Sometimes it comes from the thoughts constantly racing through our minds.
What to bring
If you prefer to meditate sitting down, it’s helpful to bring a meditation cushion if you have one.
There will also be chairs available, and you’re welcome to meditate lying down as well.
When is this event not recommended?
If you have a history of epilepsy or are prone to seizures, please consider carefully whether this event is suitable for you.The vibrations we use during the session are relatively gentle, and the event takes place outdoors. Even so, it is not possible to completely rule out the possibility that sound vibrations could trigger a seizure.
If you have experienced several seizures as an adult, or if you currently take medication for epilepsy, it is better not to take the risk.
